Admission: An audition/Interview is required for students interested in joining the studio. Transfer students are asked to play two pieces. Please contact me for more information.

Lessons: Students in the studio receive weekly lessons from September to June. Students are strongly encouraged to continue taking lessons in July and August.

The lengths of lessons offered in 30min, 45min, or 60min, depending on the student’s age/level. This will be determined after the initial interview.

Attendance and Cancellation:
-Lessons canceled with twenty-four hours advance notice can be rescheduled. Students are responsible to pay for lessons canceled without twenty-four hours notice.
-Please do not bring your child if he/she is running a fever or showing symptoms of contagious condition. 
-Missed lesson in are of sickness without twenty-four hour notice, a student has an option to:
     1) attend a virtual lesson at his/her regular lesson time.
     2) have an asynchronous makeup lesson where students submit a video and I will provide feedback and a possible next assignment.
-There is no rescheduling for a make-up lesson.
-If you think you will be delayed, please call to let me know if you will be coming.
-Lesson time cannot be extended due to late arrival. Any lessons that I have to cancel will be made up at a mutually convenient time.

Payment: Payment is due by the 1st  of every  month.  A $20 late fee is due per student per month if payment is received after the 15th of the month.

Equipment: Students must have a well-maintained acoustic piano for home practice. The quality of your student’s home instrument plays a significant role in their potential for success.

Termination:
I have the right to terminate lessons with a student when necessary.  Reasons for dismissal include but are not limited to:
-No committing to daily practice
-Requent rescheduling and/or missed lessons
